Addendum, the site smoke ranges from suboptimal to really bad if the enemy has a weapon disadvantage or an OP holding from main. The main smoke isn't inherently bad, but the site smoke can potentially create the necessary chaos needed to break up problematic angles and crossfires. Also, the last tip is actually slightly troll. Smoking main gives the enemy liberty to spam the spike safely, so it might be better to have main open after securing the site.

Wrong. Just aim for the head and get headshot. Everything else is irrelevant if enemies are dead and you're landing 1 tap headshot.

Dont do this on anti ecos, where your buy and that of your team is better than the enemy team's. This gives them close range fights where their stingers and shotguns are better, and also allows them to isolate fights just as much as you. This kind of smoke is great if you're eco'ing, but otherwise is way too risky to do in normal rounds. Instead, smoke A main so that your enemies cant take a timing and peek you at a random time while you're clearing the site, or dropping from heaven.

Ive used these kind of lurk smokes to isolate duels out of a 1v3 through B main lotus. Sometimes, using the enemies perfect chokepoint smokes against them is also a viable option

I throw smokes in mid air and time my push so that as the smoke is dropping from heaven to the back of site, I can safely isolate a duel before dropping down. Or let it hang half way off of heaven so it creates a pocket to drop down to

Honestly I wouldn't crouch or crouch spray until you are atleast imortal. You need to have fast aim, focus, and angle holding knowledge. When people try to crouch spray me in tdm or dm and i see there under asc i just one tap them cuz honestly its much better to tap

I would argue that crouching when holding commen angles isnt always bad especially if your only holding for first contact and than back up while playing an angle that often get prefired

Nah I don’t agree with smokes that line up with the fall, they can just flash out… if you actually do a more shallow smoke , you can use it as a wall if you hold a close angle, which gives you some cover to get picks after the flashes

i set my crouch button to my side mouse button makes it easy to crouch

this is something I just do random sometimes crouch sometimes I move. For long range I move mostly and then random shit for variance

The problem with thia type of smoke is if the enemy team cancel the a hit and go b then you have no smokes for the team i only do the one way when iam alone in site and try to hold it

As pros earlier said or claimed that unbinding crouch did help them from 20% hs to 100% hs, the silver-plat lobbies catch it the earliest, now that they've unbinded crouch they also dont have a very good crosshair placement as well as one taps, and mostly spray around which is so ridiculous if ur standing and spraying but thats what they heard in a yt video of a pro

Imo its actually bad to crouch on low ranks because people at these ranks dont preaim/prefire at your head. Instead, they aim at your body, and when you crouch - you make it easier for them to accidentally 1 tap you. I, personally, completely stopped crouching and ranked up from plat2 to ascendant1 in one act.

its bullshit. Cuz if u smoke anywhere else other than the “default” u will get yelled at by the random. They dont know how to get creative and change around. They dont know how to play around with different smoke. They only want default stuff or they wont know how to play around it

And yet some dude in my lobby say "smoke here" "smoke there" "smoke my ass up" like bruh I know how to play that's why I pick smoker if not you guys get mad because I instalock duelist. The only characters I plan on practicing with is jet raze sova skye viper omen brim and killjoy I plan on playing my top 3 but also plan to use everyone when I actually get better I have no desire to sit and play one character and call it a day

My advice for iron is to quit while you can.

Doesn’t really matter in lower elo, people take dumb fights and peek shit all the time. I can always give plans but if no one follows them then in the end I throw whatever smokes I have for the team.
